Data processing agreement

The data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is concluded automatically. Where to find it and how to keep it on file.

When your organization prints personal data with Sealed Print, for example invoices with customer names, Sealed Print processes this data on your behalf. The GDPR requires a data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 for this. Sealed Print concludes it automatically with every organization; there is nothing to sign.

Prerequisites

  • An organization in Sealed Print. The agreement applies on every plan.
  • Every member can view it; it is concluded between the organization (controller) and Tiny Tools Microservices GmbH (processor).

One-time setup

Nothing to set up. To keep the agreement on file, for example for your records of processing activities:

  1. Go to Settings → Data processing. The page shows when the agreement was concluded with your organization and its version.
  2. Select Print or save as PDF and save it with your documentation.

The current text is also public at Data processing agreement. It lists the technical and organizational measures and the sub-processors. The English version is binding; versions in other languages are for information.

Every time

Nothing to do. When the agreement changes, for example because a sub-processor is added, the new version applies as described in the agreement, and Settings → Data processing shows it with its date.

Troubleshooting

  • You need a signed copy: the agreement is concluded in electronic form (Art. 28 (9) GDPR) and needs no signature. The PDF from Print or save as PDF shows your organization and the date of conclusion.
  • Questions about data protection: the privacy policy explains which personal data Sealed Print processes and how to contact us.
