Print API

Print from your software with one API call

Invoices, delivery notes, labels, reports: when your software creates a document, Sealed Print prints it at the right location.

The challenge

Printing from server-side software is difficult when the printer is in another network. Direct connections need VPNs or open ports, and print servers have to be maintained.

How Sealed Print solves it

Your software sends the document with an API token to the Sealed Print REST API. The job goes to a fixed destination or into the queue, and your software follows its status through the API or a live event stream.

Setup

  1. 1

Create an API token in the settings and switch on the REST API ingress channel.

  2. 2

Send a PDF, JPEG or PNG with a single POST request, optionally to a fixed destination.

  3. 3

Follow the job and its deliveries through the API or server-sent events.

Example

curl -X POST "https://www.sealedprint.com/api/jobs?name=Invoice" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sp_api_…" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/pdf" \
  --data-binary @invoice.pdf
