Fax to printer

Faxes on paper, without a fax machine

Many practices, offices and suppliers still receive orders, prescriptions and confirmations by fax. With a fax-to-email service and Sealed Print they come out of a normal office printer, exactly where they are needed.

The challenge

Fax machines are expensive to run, need a phone line and block space. Fax-to-email services solve that, but then every fax lands in someone's mailbox and has to be opened and printed by hand.

How Sealed Print solves it

Your fax-to-email service (for example the one of your phone provider) sends every received fax as a PDF to a Sealed Print email address. Sealed Print checks the sender and prints the fax on the printer of your choice, through the relay client in the office or directly on a printer reachable on the internet. Your fax number stays the same. Email addresses are included in the Team and Business plans.

Setup

  1. 1

Create an email address under Sources → Email addresses, allow the sending address of your fax service and choose the printer.

  2. 2

Enter the Sealed Print address as the recipient in your fax-to-email service, or forward its emails there.

  3. 3

Every received fax is printed automatically and appears in the queue with a preview.
