Email to printer

A printer with its own email address

Invoices, delivery notes, tickets or documents from a supplier often arrive by email and end up on paper anyway. Sealed Print gives every printer an email address, so printing becomes a matter of forwarding.

The challenge

Printing an email attachment means opening it on a computer that has the right printer installed. On the road, on a phone or for automatic notifications from other systems there is often no such computer.

How Sealed Print solves it

Create an email address in Sealed Print and choose the printer. Every PDF, JPEG or PNG attachment becomes a job of its own; if you like, the email text is printed as well. Only members of your organization and the senders you allow can print, and Sealed Print checks that the sender is genuine. Email addresses are included in the Team and Business plans.

Setup

  1. 1

Create an email address under Sources → Email addresses, choose the printer and the allowed senders.

  2. 2

Forward emails to the address or set up a rule in your mail program for invoices, delivery notes or notifications.

  3. 3

Attachments come out of the printer and appear in the queue with sender, preview and status.

What you get

Works from any device
Forward an email from your phone and the document is printed in the office.
Automatic with mail rules
Let your mail program forward invoices or order notifications and they are printed without anyone touching them.
Protected against misuse
Unknown senders and forged addresses are rejected, and every address can be renewed or deleted at any time.
Only what belongs on paper
Signature logos and embedded images are skipped; only real attachments and, if you want, the text are printed.
