# Sealed Print

> Sealed Print is a cloud printing service ("Print from anywhere.") of the brand Sealed. Computers print through a personal printer URL
> (IPP, no drivers, no VPN) into a cloud queue; from there jobs are delivered to printers through the Sealed Print
> relay client, printers with IPP INFRA support or IPP push. Programs submit jobs through a REST API with API tokens.

Key facts:

- Printer URLs work with the built-in IPP support of Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS (IPP Everywhere).
- Every connection uses TLS. Sealed Print does not claim end-to-end encryption for jobs printed through printer URLs.
- Devices at the printer side only connect outbound; no open ports are needed on site.
- The REST API is described with OpenAPI 3.1; authentication with API tokens (`Authorization: Bearer sp_api_…`).
